People Partner (up to £50,000)

About the role  

As a People Partner, you’ll support your client group as a trusted advisor and coach, working closely with a Senior People Partner and with the backing of a People Advisor. This is a true generalist role, giving you the scope to influence, guide, and shape both people and business outcomes. 

In this role, you’ll blend strategic HR expertise with a people-first mindset, ensuring core processes run seamlessly, and strong, trusted partnerships are built across the business. You’ll play a key role in shaping initiatives that drive engagement, enhance ways of working, and strengthen a culture where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

As a People Partner you will;  

  • Be a trusted partner to your client groups – providing proactive, solution-focused advice that helps leaders deliver their team and business objectives. 
  • Leverage people data by providing reports, analysing trends, risks, and opportunities, and turning insights into actions that drive stronger outcomes for both people and the business. 
  • Guide and coach managers supporting them through employee relations issues such as performance management, wellbeing, conflict resolution, and organisational change with confidence and empathy. 
  • Champion our culture and values embedding Immediate’s culture consistently across teams, ensuring alignment and a positive employee experience at every touchpoint. 
  • Collaborate across the People function working with Talent, L&D, Reward, EDI, Comms and Events to deliver a seamless end-to-end employee experience.  
  • Support organisational design and development driving engagement, team effectiveness, and performance through thoughtful organisational development, succession planning, and change initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the People Partnering and ED&I team on training, feedback sessions, surveys, and policies that create lasting cultural change and foster a forward-thinking and inclusive workplace. 
  • Champion wellbeing initiatives, by promoting mental health awareness, encouraging use of EAPs, Mental Health Champions/First Aiders, flexible working, or wellbeing tools.   
  • Ensure all company policies, guidelines and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law. 

Requirements

  • Proven HR experience in a business partner or advisory role, ideally within a fast-paced, commercial environment. 
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and confidence in handling employee relations matters (e.g., performance management, wellbeing, conflict resolution, change management). 
  • Data-driven mindset – comfortable analysing people data and using insights to shape decisions and strategies. 
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to guide and challenge managers at all levels. 
  • Excellent communication skills – able to build trusted relationships, simplify complex issues, and adapt your style to different audiences. 
  • Collaborative and cross-functional – experienced in working closely with teams like Talent, Reward, L&D, and EDI to deliver an end-to-end people experience. 
  • Proactive problem-solver – you spot issues before they escalate and create practical, people-first solutions. 
  • Passion for culture and wellbeing – committed to building an inclusive, engaging environment where people can thrive. 
  • Organisational design and change experience (desirable) – helping shape teams and structures that support business growth.
